4o4 Type Foundry is a personal typeface practice by Shiyan Zhu, who designs all her fonts with the highly questionable creative supervision of her cat, DunDun. The foundry’s name comes from the internet error “404,” which is fitting because many of her ideas begin as “Wait… what if this shouldn’t exist?” and then magically evolve into actual typefaces.
